about

WORLD WITHOUT END:

What if we didn’t pray before going to bed at night. No horror stories detailing what would happen if we died before we woke up, what angels would watch over us, and through what agency we would see our souls move to the next place.

What if we learned to juggle instead.

We could spend that time picking up rubber balls and placing them in the air one after another. And we would learn how hard it is to keep them that way, minute by minute, suspended against gravity, waiting and wanting to fall back to earth.

And with every move, we might learn how to fight against that gravity — to delicately position them in their own place in front of us and catch each one as it fell, redirecting its energy upward, not too hard, not too quickly, using all our skill to create the perfect arc.

It’s a lesson we learn at home. It’s the infinite game. The game here where the goal is to keep the game moving for one more day, to keep the ball in the air, to keep the movement alive. We learn it when we argue with our family, knowing full well that the winning move is to keep that relationship alive, fluid, in the air.

That’s how we can pray. Not to BE endless, ourselves, undying, immortal, but to build SOMETHING without end. A game of all of us that goes on forever...

about

Go Fight Chicago, Illinois

Founded by industrial vocalist/percussionist Jim Marcus, machine-like drummer Vince McAley, and multi-instrumentalist Dan Evans, Go Fight is
possibly the first or second best Electroscuzz Band playing in the Chicago Area, integrating the noisy politics and freedom of Industrial with the relentless dancefloor mantras
of EBM, the synthetic pump of electrohouse, and the electrical power of dubstep.
